Remove membrane from back of the ribs.
Apply a base layer of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and your favorite BBQ seasoning evenly on both sides.
Place into your smoker at 250 degrees for about 2 hours.
Wrap your ribs meat side down in foil with a few pads of unsalted butter and honey.
Place back into your smoker for another hour.
Flip meat side up unwrapped for 15 more minutes before applying any of the cherry coke glaze.
Apply a few layers of the cherry coke glaze and let the glaze set for up to 45 minutes in the smoker.
For the cherry coke BBQ sauce, reduce cherry preserves, Cherry Coke, and BBQ sauce for 15-20 minutes on medium low heat until thickens.
