Instructions

1: Marinade your pork butt with root beer overnight.

2: Remove the pork, pat dry, score the fat, and season liberally on both sides with honey hog and some holy gospel.

3: Place into your smoker at 250-275 degrees until the bark forms, spraying occasionally. This should take about 6-7 hours depending on the size of your pork butt.

4: At 165-175 degrees, wrap in foil with 1/2 cup of apple juice.

5: Place back onto your smoker for about 2 hours or until the pork reaches 205 degrees and is probe tender.

6: Let it rest for at least one hour and then shred and enjoy.
