Delicious Nashville hot chicken sliders featuring tender chicken brined in pickle juice, coated in a flavorful batter, and served on sweet slider buns with mayonnaise, dill pickle chips, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Cut chicken into 2 inch pieces and brine in pickle juice for 2 hours.
Remove chicken from pickle juice brine and prepare batter by combining buttermilk, hot sauce, and 1 egg; separately, mix flour and Nashville hot chicken seasoning.
Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mix, then into the buttermilk mix and back into the flour mix (repeat until each piece of chicken has been coated).
Place chicken into an air fryer and cook at 350° for 12-15 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees, spraying chicken every 5 minutes with cooking spray.
Assemble sliders with mayonnaise, pickle chips, chicken, maple syrup, and additional Nashville hot chicken seasoning.
