Cheesy Shrimp and Grits

In a pan on medium heat, add butter, chicken stock, and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the liquid starts to simmer, add grits and shredded cheddar cheese.

Stir on low heat until grits thicken up (10-15 minutes).

Dice up bacon and fry until crispy. Reserve 2-3 tablespoons of bacon grease.

In the bacon grease, add shrimp and minced garlic, along with seasoning. Sauté shrimp for 4-5 minutes until cooked through.

Serve shrimp on top of grits, along with crumbled bacon, more cheese, and green onions.
