These bacon jalapeño ribs are smoked to perfection and topped with honey, crispy bacon, and fresh jalapeños for a delectable flavor. Start by preparing the ribs, applying seasoning, and using a smoking method for that rich BBQ taste.
Remove membrane from back of the ribs.
Use an oil binder and apply your bbq seasoning evenly on both sides.
Place into your smoker at 250 degrees for about 2.5 hours or until you can scratch the surface of your ribs without the rub coming off.
Wrap your ribs meat side down in foil with a few pads of unsalted butter and honey.
Place back into your smoker for another hour.
After an hour, flip meat side up unwrapped for 15 more minutes before applying any bbq sauce.
Paint on your bbq sauce and then let it set for another 15-20 minutes in the smoker.
Add jalapeños, crispy bacon, and honey, and enjoy your amazing ribs!
